Carolina Grits Company products are freshly milled and have no preservatives. In an effort to reduce the use of plastic, our eco-friendly tin-tie bags are made of kraft paper and food based PLA liner. 
We recommend storing all of our products inside of an airtight container or zip-lock bag and keeping it in the fridge to maintain freshness.  Freeze for long term storage.
